They allow opponents to shoot 36.8% from beyond the arc which ranks 25th. When it comes to Point Guards they allow 3.3 made 3-pointers per game which is the 2nd most in the league. Shooting guards make on average 3.8 3-pointers which is the highest number in the NBA. The last time Poole faced this Rockets team he made 5 3’s.

ASA NBA PLAYER PROP OVER 31.5 POINTS+REBOUNDS – Deandre Ayton Phoenix Suns

The Thunder are coming off a game in Utah last night and the Jazz starting Center, Walker Kessler, had a monster rebound game with 17 rebounds along with 7-points. The Thunder allow the 5th most rebounds to Centers in the NBA at 16 per game and Ayton is one of the best rebounders in the league at 10.1 per game. In this scenario we like the combination of points + rebounds as Ayton is averaging 33.8 pts+rebs per game over his last ten games. The Big Man for the Suns has a BIG game tonight.

#795/796 ASA PLAY ON Under 136 Points – Michigan vs Rutgers, Thursday at 8:30 PM ET

Rutgers is a great defensive team overall (4th nationally in efficiency) but especially so at home where they allow only 54 PPG.  At home this team allows opponents to shoot only 36% from the field and 26% from beyond the arc.  They have played 16 home games thus far and only 3 opponents have reached 60 points.  Their most recent home game was one of their worst defensive performances of the year allowing Nebraska to score 82 points on 1.21 points per possessions which is way above Rutgers season defensive average of 0.90 PPP allowed.  We expect them to play very well on that end of the court tonight.  Rutgers will be without starter Caleb McConnell tonight and they lost starting big man Mawot Mag a few weeks ago.  They are not a deep team to begin with and will benefit by keeping this game at a very slow pace which they prefer.  Michigan likes to play fast, but that won’t happen on the road tonight.  The Wolverines have been solid offensively at home this year but on the road they are averaging only 67 PPG and will land below that tonight vs one of the top defenses in the nation.  Defensively Michigan ranks 7th in the Big 10 in efficiency but shouldn’t need to be great on that end tonight vs a Rutgers offense that ranks dead last in the league in eFG%.  Four of Michigan’s last six road game have totaled less than 120 points and their average point total on the road this year is 137 points.  Rutgers home games this season are averaging just 128 total points and 7 of the last 9 meetings between these 2 have resulted in 135 or fewer points.  Take the Under.

Porzingis gets a favorable match up here against a Timberwolves team that allows the 3rd most points in the league to Power Forwards at 23.6PPG. The Unicorn has averaged 25.9PPG in his last ten games and is averaging just under this total for the season at 22.96PPG. Porzingis has scored more than 23.5 points in 5 of his last seven games. In an earlier meeting between these two teams Porzingis had a monster 41-point game.

These are two of the slower paced teams in the NBA as the Clippers average 97.3 possession per game which is 5th slowest. The Suns rank 9th slowest at 98 possessions per game. These are also two of the best defenses in the NBA ranking top 10 in defensive efficiency. These two teams have already met twice this season and produced 207 and 206 total points. The O/U’s on those two games were 219.5 and 218.5. Now we get an inflated number of 224 to work with and will bet Under again. ASA free play on Memphis Grizzlies -10 vs Utah Jazz, 8:10PM ET

The Grizzlies are coming off a loss in Boston on the 12th and will look to rebound against the Jazz back at home. Utah is off a road win in Indianapolis on the 13th but are just 3-6 SU their last nine games. Memphis is 23-5 SU at home with the 2nd best average Margin of Victory on their home court at +10.5PPG. When coming off a loss and playing at home the Grizz are 6-3 SU and ATS. Utah is 11-18 SU for the season on the road with a negative differential of -2.4PPG. The last time these two teams met on this court was back on Jan 8th with the Grizzlies winning 123-118 as a -5.5-point favorite. Memphis played that game without Ja Morant or Steven Adams and Utah had Mike Conley. The home team has won 5 straight in this series and with the Grizzlies +/- at home we like them to win and do so by their average MOV. Lay it!

OVER 3.5 RUSH ATTEMPTS – QB Patrick Mahomes – KC Chiefs

Mahomes has had 2 more weeks to get closer to 100%.  He had 3 rush attempts in both Jax (missed some of game and came back injured) and vs Cincinnati on bad ankle.  Mahomes carried the ball 4 or more times in in 10 of 19 games this season and with the Eagles pass rush (most sacks in the NFL), Mahomes may have more opportunities to scramble for yardage.  In his 3 Super Bowl appearances Mahomes has 21 rushing attempts (7 per game average) and hasn’t had less than 5 attempts in any of those games.

Siakam is on a miny-tear right now and has put up two straight impressive games against the Spurs and Jazz. Today he gets a very favorable matchup against a Pistons team that struggles to stop Power Forwards. Detroit allows the 2nd most points and rebounds to PF’s on the season at 23.9PPG and 12.1RPG. Siakam is averaging 31.8Pts+Rebs his last ten games and has put up 47 and 41 in the past two games. We are betting he has a big game today.
