J’s Plays – Football Betting Insider

J's Plays Football Service

J’s Plays

Proven Experience. Informed Plays. Since 2008.

Jโ€™s Plays brings nearly two decades of experience in the sports handicapping industry. The service provides sports bettors with researched, disciplined, and data-driven selections.

J began working in the sports handicapping industry in 2008. He built his experience alongside some of the most recognized names in the business. Over the years, he has worked with industry leaders including American Sports Analysts, Nellyโ€™s Sportsline, and Point Train. Through that time, he gained valuable experience across multiple sports, markets, and handicapping approaches.

That experience ultimately led to the creation of Jโ€™s Plays โ€” an independent service. It is built around the belief that successful handicapping starts with preparation, research, and consistency.

At Jโ€™s Plays, every selection is approached with the goal of identifying value rather than simply picking winners. In the analysis, factors such as team and player performance, matchups, injuries, trends, scheduling, and market movement are all considered. This helps uncover opportunities that may be overlooked by the average bettor.

Experience You Can Trust

With experience dating back to 2008 and a professional background working with established handicapping organizations, J’s Plays brings a seasoned perspective to every card.

Jโ€™s Plays is built on:

  • Nearly two decades of industry experience
  • Professional experience with established handicapping services
  • Thorough game and matchup research
  • A focus on value and disciplined wagering
  • Straightforward, transparent selections
  • A long-term approach rather than chasing short-term results

The Jโ€™s Plays Approach

The goal is simple: do the work, find the value, and let the numbers speak for themselves.

Whether you’re a longtime sports bettor or just getting started, Jโ€™s Plays is designed to provide well-researched selections and professional insight without unnecessary hype.

How to read a Cover Kings Report

PROJ (Projection)

This is our model’s projected value for that stat, in that game, for that player. It comes from recent performance, matchup history, and opponent tendencies, not a gut feeling.

LINE

This is the number the sportsbook is offering. It’s the target our projection gets compared against.

DIR (Direction)

This shows whether we think the player goes OVER or UNDER the line. If our projection is higher than the line, we lean OVER. If it’s lower, we lean UNDER.

PROB (Probability)

This is our model’s estimate of how likely the pick is to hit. It’s built from thousands of similar matchups, not a single game.

EDGE

This is the number that actually matters. Edge is Probability minus 50%.

Fifty percent is the real breakeven point for a coin flip prop. If our model says a pick has a 58% probability of hitting, the edge is 8%. The bigger the edge, the stronger we like the play. In summary, Cover Kings AI driven Player Props provide a systematic and transparent approach to betting.

Why we show every pick, not just the winners

Every report also has three totals at the top: PP Lines, Primary Picks, and Watchlist.

PP Lines is the full sheet, every prop line the model evaluated that day. Primary Picks are the ones that cleared our edge threshold and made it into the report. Watchlist picks are close, but not quite strong enough to play.

We show the full sheet on purpose. If we only posted our winners, the record would mean nothing. The same math runs every day, on every player, whether the day ends up green or red.

The short version

PROJ is what we think happens. LINE is what the book is offering. DIR is our lean. PROB is our confidence. EDGE is why we picked it in the first place.

NBA free bet today | Cavs vs Heat | Game 3 April 26th

NBA free bet today: ASA play on Miami Heat +5.5 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 1pm ET

We are going to support the Heat plus the points in this one as we trust Miami head coach Spolestra to dial up a gameplan to get a home win in Game 3.

Miami played much better in the 2nd half of their last game, outscoring the Cavs 61-53 over the final 2 quarters of Game 2. The Heat won the rebound battle 38-34 and shot well at 52%.

The Cavs were dialed in from Deep by hitting 22-45 from beyond the Arc, but donโ€™t expect shots to fall as easily on the road in Miami.

The Heat were home underdogs just 15 times this season and a profitable 9-6 ATS in those games with an average plus/minus of -3.7ppg (good enough for a cover here).

Cleveland was very good as a road chalk this season at 20-14 ATS but they are just 2-5 ATS in that role their last seven. Miami shoots it much better at home than they do on the road with the 4th best 3PT% on their home court in the NBA.

The Cavs road 3PT% defense ranks 18th. If the Heat are going to win a game in this series it could be this one. Regardless, we expect a close game and will grab the points.

MNF Prop Bets | Bills vs. Jets Player Props

MNF Prop Bets on the Buffalo Bills vs. NY Jets game – Sept 11th 2023

UNDER 70.5 RECEIVING YARDS โ€“ BUFFALO BILLS WR STEFON DIGGS โ€“ Last season Diggs averaged 89.1-Yards Receiving per game with a 154 total targets on the season. In two games against the Jets, he was held to an average of 4 receptions per game and 65-Yards receiving. Diggs faded down the stretch last season, averaging under 67.5 receiving yards in four of the Bills last six games. Last season the Jets defense ranked 3rd in passing yards allowed at 189.4YPG. Buffalo averaged 261.4-Passing Yards Per Game a year ago which was 5th best in the NFL. In the two games against this Jets defense last year, Allen and Bills threw for just 352-total yards.

OVER 35.5 RUSHING YARDS โ€“ BUFFALO BILLS QB JOSH ALLEN โ€“ Allen was 2nd on the Bills team last year in rushing at 762 total rushing yards. Thatโ€™s an average of 47.6-Rushing Yards Per Game. He has rushed for over 760-Yards in each of the last two seasons. Against a Jets defense that is extremely tough to pass on, it should lead to more rushing opportunities for Allen when his receivers are covered downfield. In the two games against this Jets D a year ago he rushed for 47 and 86 yards respectively.
