How to read a Cover Kings Report

PROJ (Projection)

This is our model’s projected value for that stat, in that game, for that player. It comes from recent performance, matchup history, and opponent tendencies, not a gut feeling.

LINE

This is the number the sportsbook is offering. It’s the target our projection gets compared against.

DIR (Direction)

This shows whether we think the player goes OVER or UNDER the line. If our projection is higher than the line, we lean OVER. If it’s lower, we lean UNDER.

PROB (Probability)

This is our model’s estimate of how likely the pick is to hit. It’s built from thousands of similar matchups, not a single game.

EDGE

This is the number that actually matters. Edge is Probability minus 50%.

Fifty percent is the real breakeven point for a coin flip prop. If our model says a pick has a 58% probability of hitting, the edge is 8%. The bigger the edge, the stronger we like the play. In summary, Cover Kings AI driven Player Props provide a systematic and transparent approach to betting.

Why we show every pick, not just the winners

Every report also has three totals at the top: PP Lines, Primary Picks, and Watchlist.

PP Lines is the full sheet, every prop line the model evaluated that day. Primary Picks are the ones that cleared our edge threshold and made it into the report. Watchlist picks are close, but not quite strong enough to play.

We show the full sheet on purpose. If we only posted our winners, the record would mean nothing. The same math runs every day, on every player, whether the day ends up green or red.

The short version

PROJ is what we think happens. LINE is what the book is offering. DIR is our lean. PROB is our confidence. EDGE is why we picked it in the first place.

NHL Free Bet | Panthers vs Leafs Game 7 | 2025 NHL Playoffs

ASA NHL play on Florida Panthers -130 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs, Game 7 7 – 7:30pm ET

The Panthers are 3-1 all-time in Game 7s, including 2-0 on the road, with notable victories against the Boston Bruins (2023) and Edmonton Oilers (2024 Stanley Cup Final). Toronto, conversely, is 12-15 in Game 7s, with a six-game losing streak in these scenarios, last winning in 2004 against Ottawa.

The experience of the Panthers who have 13 players on their roster from last season’s Game 7 win against Edmonton in the Stanley Cup. The Panthers hold a 60/40 edge in expected goals and they’ve outscored Toronto 20-16 in the series. Florida has won five straight playoff series and eight of nine, advancing to the Stanley Cup Final in each of the past two seasons.

Toronto hasn’t reached the third round in 23 years. Netminder Sergei Bobrovsky is 2-0 in Game 7s with a 1.88 GAA and .933 save percentage, including 23 saves in last season’s Cup-clinching win. Toronto’s Joseph Woll, while impressive with a Game 6 shutout, has less high-stakes experience.

We are on the Panthers with their Game 7 experience, led by Marchand, Verhaeghe, Tkachuk, and Bobrovsky, outweighs Toronto’s home advantage. Florida’s ability to dominate 5v5 play and their recent playoff pedigree make them the safer pick to advance to the Eastern Conference Final.

NHL Bet | Blues vs Jets Prediction | Game 7 2025

ASA NHL Betting Prediction: St. Louis Blues +130 vs Winnipeg Jets – 7pm ET(Game 7, May 4, 2025)

The St. Louis Blues are a live underdog to upset the Winnipeg Jets in Game 7 in Winnipeg (+130 moneyline). Despite Connor Hellebuyck’s strong home play (3-0, 2.33 GAA in this series), his playoff struggles (5-11, .860 SV% over three postseasons) and a 4.22 GAA against the Blues is concerning and clearly a trend. Meanwhile, Blues Netminder Jordan Binnington (2.69 GAA, .910 SV% since February) has a proven playoff pedigree, including a 2019 Game 7 road win in Boston. The Blues, led by Robert Thomas (40 points in 26 games), have won 4 of their last 5 as underdogs and boast a battle-tested 2019 Cup core. St. Louis’ ability to exploit Winnipeg’s penalty kill (79.4%) and Hellebuyck’s postseason demons makes them a value bet and live underdog. We would also consider a NHL prediction on the OVER 5.5 goals Blues vs Jets.

NHL free pick daily | St Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets | May 2, 2025

NHL Betting Prediction: St. Louis Blues vs. Winnipeg Jets – May 2, 2025

In Game 6, the St. Louis Blues are primed to defeat the Winnipeg Jets and force a Game 7. The Blues dominated both home games, outscoring the Jets 12-3, and now face a Jets team missing captain Mark Scheifele, injured in Game 5. Scheifele’s absence (4 goals, 2 assists in playoffs) weakens Winnipeg’s offense. Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington, with a 10-4-1 record, .909 save percentage, and 2.26 GAA over his last 15 starts, has been stellar, allowing just 3 goals on 42 shots in Games 3 and 4. Back the Blues to extend the series.

ASA NHL play on Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 goals vs. Ottawa Senators – 7pm ET April 29, 2025

The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Ottawa Senators in Game 5 of their 2025 NHL Playoffs first-round series at Scotiabank Arena, leading 3-1.

The Maple Leafs are a strong bet to close out the series tonight at -170 but we don’t want to get involved in that hefty price so we will be the puck line here. Toronto has a 29-13-1 home record this season (.674 winning percentage), with a +0.95 goal differential at home, scoring 3.25 goals per game (7th in the NHL) and allowing 2.30 (8th in the league).

Ottawa, is 18-20-5 on the road (.465 winning percentage), with a -0.42 goal differential, scoring 2.90 goals per game (21st) while allowing 3.32.

Goaltending favors Toronto, with Anthony Stolarz posting a 2.14 GAA and .926 save percentage in the regular season (34 games), ranking first in save percentage among goalies with 20+ starts. Ottawa’s Linus Ullmark has a .910 save percentage and has struggled in the series, allowing six goals on high-danger chances.

With Ottawa down 3-1, they may pull their goalie late, potentially leading to a multi-goal Toronto win via an empty-netter. Maple Leafs Money Line Puck Line (-1.5, +155). Play on Toronto Maple Leafs -1.5 goals vs. Ottawa Senators – 7pm ET April 29, 2025
