It’s not often we lay a huge number but this one is warranted.  Indiana has played only 3 Big 10 home games and they’ve won those by 53 points (vs Illinois), by 50 points (vs UCLA), and by 25 points (vs MSU). 

IU head coach Cignetti is not afraid to bury teams and he’s done just that at home.  The Hoosiers are undefeated at home since Cignetti took over at the beginning of last season and their average margin of victory in those games is +36 points. 

They are in the top 10 nationally in both total offense and total defense.  This offense has put up at least 30 points in 17 of their 23 games under Cignetti. 

The problem for Wisconsin is they can’t score.  They have only 4 total TD’s in their 6 Big 10 games and they haven’t topped 300 total yards in a conference game this season.  Last week they beat Washington at home 13-10 with 205 total yards and 48 yards passing, of which 24 came from their punter on a fake punt. 

It looks like true freshman Carter Smith will get his first ever collegiate start here.  That’s a rough spot for an inexperienced QB.  If Wisconsin can’t run the ball, they are in huge trouble. 

The IU defense allows just 83 YPG on the ground so Smith will have to somehow create some plays through the air.  The Badger defense has been very solid over the last few games but they are running into a juggernaut here as Indiana averages 548 YPG on 7.7 YPP at home this season. 

This one looks like another Hoosier home blow out.

BG is definitely heading the wrong direction losing 5 of their last 6 games with their only win coming vs Toledo in a game the Falcons were outgained 429 to 226. 

They have massive problems at QB with starter Drew Pyne banged up and if he can’t go it’s most likely 4th stringer Hunter Najm.  There is some turmoil in this program as well as 3 players were arrested last weekend and they fired their offensive coordinator this week. 

BG’s last 3 games have all been non-covers and not close with an average of loss of 21+ points vs the number.  EMU is in a good spot at home and coming off a bye after covering 5 of their last 7 games.  They went into the bye after playing one of the top teams in the MAC (Ohio) to the wire at home losing 28-21 on a Bobcat TD with under 1:00 minute remaining in the game. 

If we focus on MAC stats only (comparable teams) EMU has been the better team with better YPG, YPP, and point differentials.  We like Eastern Michigan vs a team that seems to be in a bit of disarray.  College Football free bet today is on EMU.

Will Badgers score in this game?  They were shutout 37-0 at home vs Iowa last week and OSU’s defense is a few notches better than the Hawkeyes. 

OSU is allowing just 8 PPG on the season and teams are averaging 0.85 points per drive, both #1 in the country.  Wisconsin’s offense has been brutal to say the least. 

They are down to their 3rd string QB (transfer from Southern Illinois) and they can’t run the ball (116th nationally in YPG rushing).  That makes it very tough to score and they’ve shown that can’t. 

This team is averaging less than 7 PPG in Big 10 play and over their last 4 games they’ve had 45 offensive possessions and scored a grand total of 3 offensive TD’s.  Just terrible. 

And now they face the best defense they’ve seen this year.  A defense that held Washington to 6 points, Texas to 7 points, and Minnesota to 3 points. 

Offensively OSU isn’t great this year but they are still very good.  They still rank 19th in the country in YPP and 23rd in scoring putting up 37 PPG.  They shouldn’t need to do much on offense here as Wisconsin will do next to nothing on their offensive side of the ball. 

OSU has scored at least in the mid 30’s in 4 of their 6 games and that should easily get it done here vs a Wisconsin defense that started out well, but has faded. 

The Badgers have allowed 38, 27, 24, and 37 points over their last 4 games and 3 of those offenses rank 50th or worse (total offense) including Iowa who ranks 115th yet put up 37 points last week. 

The Badgers put a lot of emotional effort into last week’s game vs arch rival Iowa and still got smoked.  Nothing left in the tank here and OSU rolls big.

Free CFB Bet | Texas vs San Jose State | ASA breaks it down

The Spartans could be in for a long day in Austin on Saturday.  Texas lost 14-7 @ Ohio State last week but they outplayed the Bucks on the field with a +133 total yard advantage. 

They also dominated the Buckeyes on the ground averaging 4.5 YPC to just 2.3 YPC for OSU.  The Longhorn defense was stellar limiting Ohio State to just 203 total yards on 3.7 YPP on the road. 

San Jose State lost at home 16-14 last weekend vs a Central Michigan team that was traveling across the country with entirely new systems on both sides of the ball.  How is this SJSU offense going to put up points on the road vs one of the best defenses in the country, and with extra motivation coming off a loss? 

Defensively, the Spartans allowed the brand new CMU offense to average 5.7 YPP and put up 247 yards on the ground last week.  Now they face an angry offense that is ready to blow someone’s doors off after last week. 

While only scoring 7 points last week, Texas did put up 336 total yards and 170 yards rushing on one of the best defenses in the country.  Huge step down here taking on SJSU’s stop unit. 

The Longhorns similar type opponent non-conference home games last year vs Colorado State, UTSA, and UL Monroe, they outscored those 3 opponents 159-10! 

After hearing all week how they blew last week’s game vs OSU, they’ll want to run this one up and get QB Manning rolling with confidence.  Texas has UTEP on deck so no lookahead for them.  Lay it.
