They gashed Purdue for 460 yards without punting last week, leaving points on the table in a 33-17 win, and their 12.8 yards per pass attempt (No. 2) should provide explosive plays with WR Ja’Kobi Lane exploiting the Spartans secondary.

Michigan State’s secondary? A sieve, ranking 118th in passing yards allowed (273.3 YPG) and coughing up 25 completions per game through the air, with 5.4 yards per play surrendered overall (86th).

Flip to MSU’s side: Dual-threat QB Aidan Chiles has Sparty averaging 35.3 points per game, exploding for 42 and 41 in their last two outings behind a balanced attack (168 rushing YPG, 68th).

USC’s D, stout against the run (86.3 YPG allowed), ranks just 82nd in points allowed per play (0.4) and could bend under Chiles’ mobility.

L.A. has scored or allowed 100+ points in 6 of their last nine games and are coming off a pair of games against significantly better defenses (Liberty, Storm) and they scored 94 and 97 points respectively.

Dallas has allowed 85 or more points in 7 of their last nine games.

At first glance, the Wings offense has struggled to put up points in games but they’ve also faced several of the better defensive teams in the league, and the Sparks are not on that level defensively.

We lean to 183+ points in this game.

The Tigers are 16-24 in road games this season and Detroit is 11-25 against teams with a winning record this season.  Given these numbers you can see why laying the price with the Rangers at home is absolutely worth a look in this one as the odds in favor of the road team make the price a bargain even in the -160 range on this one.  Texas is the play here.
