WNBA Free Bet Today: Phoenix Mercury +6.5 at Atlanta Dream

WNBA free bet today

WNBA Free Bet Today: Phoenix Mercury +6.5 at Atlanta Dream – 7pm ET tipoff – Wednesday, August 5th 2026

Looking for a sharp WNBA free bet today? ASAWins continues smashing the books in the WNBA with a scorching 22-6 streak since early July. After two profitable seasons and a strong start to year three (already 27 units of net profit), here’s our featured free WNBA play for Tuesday, August 5.

Phoenix Mercury +6.5 at Atlanta Dream 7:00 PM ET

Phoenix has been something of an enigma this season at 12-19 straight up, despite essentially the same roster that reached the Finals a year ago. The Mercury went all-in with a trade for perennial All-Star and instant offense Kelsey Plum (averaging 23.6 points per game). The results showed with a win over Chicago in her debut with the Mercury on Monday:

Phoenix is 4-1 in its last five games (the only loss coming against New York) and ranks 5th in the league in net rating (+4.2) over that stretch.

The biggest jump has come on the defensive end, where the Mercury have been excellent. With Plum now in the mix to boost the offense, this team can become dangerous if it reaches the playoffs.

Atlanta is 5-1 in its last six games, but the wins look softer on paper (Sparks, Tempo, Sky, Storm, plus one quality win over the Wings). The Dream’s net rating over a comparable recent stretch sits at just +1.6. More telling: Atlanta has covered only one of those recent games and sits at just 1 cover in its last 10.

While Atlanta grades as better than average in both offensive and defensive rating, it doesn’t shoot particularly well (49.4% eFG%, 12th-worst in the league). Phoenix, with Plum’s scoring punch, should find plenty of looks against a Dream defense that ranks last in the WNBA in opponents’ field-goal percentage allowed.

The Play: Phoenix Mercury +6.5

WNBA free bet today | Liberty at Wings | July 20

WNBA free bet Liberty

ASA WNBA free bet today on NY Liberty +3.5 at Dallas Wings, 8pm ET

These two teams have played similar strength of schedules and have Net ratings of +5.3 for Dallas and +4.6 for the Liberty. New York has played much of the season without perennial All-Star Sabrina Ionescu, who is back from injury and playing well. Ionescu has put up 26, 17, 14, 25, 28 and 12 points in her last 6-games.

New York is the more desperate team right now after losing 4-straight games, one of which was at home to this same Wings team. The Liberty were coming off a huge win over the Lynx in the Commissioners Cup Championship game and suffered a letdown. Following their game against the Wings the Liberty faced the Lynx again and lost then were upset in Toronto on Sunday night before getting embarrassed in Indiana on Saturday by 20-points.

Dallas on the other hand has won 6-straight games but other than their victory in New York, the other 5 wins weren’t overly impressive coming against the Sky, Sun and two versus the Tempo and the Sparks.

Dallas has a slight edge offensively for the season, but again, the Liberty were without Ionescu for the start of the season. Defensively the Liberty have the edge ranking 5th compared to the Wings at the 8th position. The Wings have the 10th worst FG% defense in the league and rank 12th in 3PT% D.

New York off a loss is historically good with a 23-17 SU record and an average +/- in those games of +2.1ppg. We will gladly take whatever points are available with New York in this one as our free WNBA bet.

WNBA Free Bet Sky vs Aces – July 3rd 2026

ASA’s Free WNBA bet on Chicago Sky +7.5 at Las Vegas Aces, 10pm ET

The Sky got plenty of rest with the Commissioners Cup break while the Aces traveled to New York to face the Liberty in the Championship game. Unfortunately for the Aces they lost to the Liberty and now travel back home to face an improving young Sky team. Chicago had won two straight games against Portland before losing at home to this same Aces team 99-107. A solid indicator of how much better the Sky are playing shows up in their last 5-game Net rating of +4.2 which is 4th best in the league. Granted, Las Vegas is one of the best teams in the league, but they have an average scoring differential of +4.3PPG which is clearly not enough to get a cover in this situation. Chicago has an average margin of victory of -3.1PPG. Las Vegas has really good numbers when coming off a loss but they also just beat this team, are coming off that emotional game in NY AND have a massive game on deck with the Fever. It’s a good spot to grab the value with the Sky.

ASA WNBA Free Bet – Mercury vs Wings – June 11 2026

ASA WNBA play on Dallas Wings -6.5 vs. Phoenix Mercury, 8pm ET

The Wings are playing well right now with a 6-3 overall record which includes winning 4 of their last five. In this current stretch of games, they have two solid wins over the Aces and Liberty and the lone loss was respectable considering it came in Minnesota. Dallas has won three straight at home including that win against the Aces by 8-points. They were recently a -13.5 point home favorite against Seattle and won that game by 23-points. Dallas currently has the 2nd best Net rating in the league +8.0. Phoenix has been a big disappointment this season with a 3-8 SU record and a negative Net rating of -4.3. The 3 wins this season are against Portland, Seattle and Chicago – three of the worst teams in the league. The Wings are the 4th best overall shooting team in the league and 4th in 3PT%. They should have an easy time knocking down shots against this Mercury defense that ranks 11th in FG% defense and 15th in 3PT% D. Lay it with Dallas tonight.

NHL Free Bet | Wild vs Stars | April 28 2026

ASA Free NHL bet: Dallas Stars -125 vs. Minnesota Wild 8pm ET

Dallas returns home in a tied 2-2 series with every reason to seize momentum tonight. Coming off a sloppy overtime defeat, the Stars have proven time and again they respond well to setbacks and play their strongest hockey with extra preparation time. The Stars are 22-7-3 when coming off a loss this season and have hit in 11 of 15 games when playing with 2+ days of rest.Wyatt Johnston has been a revelation in the postseason, already tallying multiple goals and assists while stepping up big in key situations. His emergence helps offset any missing pieces and keeps the offense clicking. The Stars boast one of the league’s better home records this year at 27-12-4 and have owned the advantage when these teams meet at American Airlines Center. Dallas is the superior squad from top to bottom and should dictate play in front of their crowd. This series is headed for a grind, but expect the Stars to grab a critical victory in Game 5 and put Minnesota in a must-win hole.
