ASA free play Valparaiso vs No Iowa Jan 19

Nice value here on Valpo.  They just played at UNI 2 weeks ago and they were +7.5 in that game so that means this one should be closer to pick-em.  Valpo was blasted 92-65 in that game as Northern Iowa played nearly a perfect game offensively hitting 60% of their shots, nearly 50% of their 3’s, and 88% of their FT’s.  One of Valpo’s better players, Thomas Kithier (a Michigan State transfer) did not play in that game but is back for this rematch.  It was by far the Crusaders worst performance of the year and they will be ready to atone for that one here at home.  UNI has been fortunate playing their last 3 games to the wire and coming out on top in each winning by 1, 1, and in OT.  The Panthers are now 5-1 in league play and they have a huge rivalry game on deck with Drake on Saturday.  Tough to lay points on the road in a poor situation with a team that is not good defensively (Panthers are 324th in eFG% defense).  Valpo is 1-5 in MVC play but they’ve also played the 2nd most difficult conference schedule to date and they are in must win mode tonight.  We think this is a perfect spot for UNI to overlook a team they’ve already blasted and we expect Valparaiso to give them all they can handle tonight.  Take the points.
