  • App State was able to put 61-points up themselves along with 649 total yards of offense.
  • Texas A&M was 70th a year ago in total offense with 386.8YPG but that also came against a tough SEC slate of games.
  • The Aggies averaged 14.2 Yards Per Point which was 56th in the country.
  • Granted, A&M has one of the best defenses in college football, but we wonโ€™t need many points out of App State for this game to go OVER the number.

He is coming off an 11 K outing against Miami but the Marlins rank 8th in strikeouts on the season and 7th in the last 15 days. In his last ten starts he has two other higher strikeout games against the Angels and Rangers. The Angels strike out more than anyone in baseball and the Rangers are 10th. Irvin will face a Washington team that doesnโ€™t strike out often. The Nats strikeout the 2nd least number of times per game in the Majors with 945 on the year in 4,274 at bats. Irvin is a lower volume pitcher with an average pitch count of 87.8 his last ten starts. We definitely like Under the number here for today’s baseball free play.
