Q: How long have you been in business?

A: American Sports Analysts, Inc was founded in June of 1997. We are a full­time handicapping Service and are in the office 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Despite being in business since 1997, we have a staff of three handicappers (Denny, Lee, & Mike) who have over 35 years of combined experience in the Sports Handicapping industry. Before founding ASA, Inc. we worked as handicappers at one of the oldest and most reputable services in the nation. At one time (not so much anymore), this recognizable Wisconsin based Service was well known for their Big Ten Game of the Year. So while ASA, Inc. is "new" in name, we have been mainstays in this industry for a long time.

A: We handicap sporting events. We advise our clients as to who they should "play" to give them the best chance of winning money. What we do actually parallels the business of a stock broker. He tells his clients what stocks to put their money into and we do the same with sporting events. As in the stock market, we are involved in taking a "gamble" which means you will not win every game. However, what we do is to provide you with the best possible opportunity to win on a consistent basis over the long haul.

A: We currently handicap College Football, NFL Football, College Basketball, NBA Basketball, and Major League Baseball. As we continue to grow, we may add handicapping experts to our staff to specialize in such sports as Nascar, Golf, and Hockey.

A: A Monitor is an independent company that "keeps track" of legitimate Sports Services Selections. A service must call in their Selections before game time and the Monitor tallies their record as the year goes on. This prevents a Service from claiming that they have hit 80% winners for the season when in all likelihood, they are nowhere near the percentage they tell you. All Monitors, however, are not honest. Some are paid extra to allow Services to give them "false" picks after the games are finished and some are even owned by other Sports Services. This is obviously a huge conflict of interest. There are two legitimate independent Monitors that the majority of Services deal with. They are the Sports Monitor out of Oklahoma City and the Sports Watch in Las Vegas. Be certain when you deal with a professional handicapper they are monitored by at least one of these companies.

A: Yes. We are documented by the Sports Monitor out of Oklahoma City.

A: We offer full-season & 30-Day Packages in Football, Basketball, & Baseball. When you sign up for either Package, you receive all Selections in that particular sport for the duration of your time period with us. Unlike many Services, we have no hidden costs or "special" games that you have to pay extra for. Once you sign up, you receive everything.

A: We use a variety of methods to handicapp games. We do not use just one handicapping method (i.e trends, stats, etc*). We compile an enormous amount of information on each game and then decide, based on the Vegas point spread, which ones give you the best chance of winning. We include personal contacts, statistical information, trends, emotional factors, power ratings, strengths & weaknesses of each team, weather conditions (if applicable), and other information when handicapping games. Our personal contacts are second to none when finding out what a team has been doing in practice. That gives us a great starting point from which to work from.
